Labiaplasty – Mona Lisa Touch™
Labia that are too large or asymmetric look unaesthetically and may lead to discomforts connected with day-to-day functioning (wearing underwear, strings, swimming costume), sexual activity and practising certain sports such as horse riding or cycling.
The causes of labia deformation include genetic predisposition, injuries as a result of natural childbirths, and the natural process of ageing of this body area.
Anomalies resulting from an inappropriate anatomy of the labia often lead to deterioration of the patient’s psychological well-being, her sexual pleasure and quality of life.
What does labiaplasty procedure involve?
The procedure involves decreasing labia majora or minora as well as modelling them through a surgical cut or laser.
Before the procedure, the doctor anaesthetises the treatment area with an anaesthetic cream and lignocaine by means of infiltration anaesthesia. Additionally, the patient can be anaesthetised using freezing air blow.
The excess labia tissue is removed using a laser or a scalpel. Laser is the preferred method as it causes coagulation of the tissues on the site of laser cutting minimising bleeding and thus making the procedure safer.

- deformed labia after childbirth
- discomfort in a day-to-day life, frequent infections connected with labia
