Regenera Activa stem cells (alopecia treatment)
What is stem cell treatment?
This original program for hair loss treatment (Regenera Activa) is a method that uses an autologous cell transplant. During a one-time session, where the patient is both the donor and the recipient, we are able to stimulate the treatment area by means of precursor cells derived from the graft extraction site.
What does the treatment involve?
The treatment is very simple and takes approximately 30 minutes. In the first stage, the doctor extracts from 1 to 3 skin sections, 2.5 mm in diameter, from the neck area along the hair line, i.e. the area that is least prone to alopecia. At the next stage, precursor cells, stem cells and growth factors, which have regeneration capabilities, are isolated using a special device from the tissue extracted from the patient. Then, such suspension is applied as scalp mesotherapy into the area of hair follicles so that it can initiate intensive repair processes. One treatment is sufficient for achieving satisfactory results; after 2-3 years it can be repeated to prevent further hair loss.
Is the procedure painful?
The treatment is almost non-invasive, and thanks to the application of local anaesthesia it is completely painless. It also does not require long downtime, as extraction of such small sections allows the skin to heal quickly and automatically.
What are the indications for the treatment?
- Androgenetic alopecia.
- Hair loss
- Hair that is weakened and tends to fall out
